Born into a family of musicians from Amsterdam, Jeroen Reuling began his cello studies with Jean Decroos. He went on to study with André Navarra at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Detmold, Germany, and soon became his assistant. In 1981, Reuling passed the Konzertexamen and completed his studies with Pierre Fournier in Geneva.

Following his debut at the Concertgebouw with the Amsterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Reuling appeared regularly with other Dutch orchestras, under the direction of such conductors as Vernon Handley, Yehudi Menuhin, and Roberto Benzi. He made numerous recordings for radio and television, and in 1983 received the ‘Audience Award’ from the Sonesta Koepelzaal in Amsterdam. Reuling performed throughout Europe, and in Asia, where he made his Hong Kong debut in 1985 with the Dvorak Cello Concerto. 
From 1983 to 2004, Jeroen Reuling was principal cellist with the Arnhem Philharmonic Orchestra, and now divides his passion for the cello between teaching and chamber music. He is Professor of Cello at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels and the ARTEZ Institute of the Arts in the Netherlands. Since October 2011 he is also professor at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.


He has held masterclasses all over the world, including Arezzo, Florence, Dublin, Budapest,Courchevel, Leuven, Dordrecht (Cello Festival), Lodz, Morges (Switzerland), Geneva, Oslo, Portugal, South Korea, Morrocco, and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since 1995, Jeroen Reuling has given annual masterclasses and concerts at the Rencontres Musicales Internationales in Enghien, near Brussels.

He is Artistic Director of the Schiermonnikoog International Chamber Music Festival in the Netherlands, and is frequently invited to participate in various chamber music projects. Recently, he toured Japan with A.R. El Bacha, Philippe Graffin, Yuzuko Horigome and Roger Chase. 
Jeroen Reuling has made recordings for Naxos, Ottavio, and Cobra. He plays an Italian cello attributed to Antonio Gagliano, Napoli 1757

 

Craig White - piano

Craig graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2007, where he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Piano Accompaniment. At the Academy he held the Gilling Family Scholarship and studied with Michael Dussek and Diana Ketler, also receiving the Evelyn German and Daniel Kelly prizes. Craig previously gained a music degree at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, where he held the Répétiteur Scholarship with New Chamber Opera, also performing in their professional productions, more recently for Mozart's La Finta Semplice. Craig also worked for Oxford City Opera, Garsington Education Programme and Oxford Baroque Soloists, including performances of Bach's St John's Passion, Wolf's Italiensches Liederbuch, La Boheme and The Turn of the Screw.

At Oxford, Craig made regular appearances at the Holywell Music Room including a performance with the Allegri String Quartet for their Golden Jubilee Concert. Craig has attended festivals in Oxford, Oxenfoord and Montepulciano, receiving masterclasses from Marios Papadopoulos, Malcolm Martineau and Paul Hamburger. In May he took part in the first Repetiteur course at the prestigious Solti Accademy Recent international engagements have included performances at the BOZAR in Brussels and a tour of South Korea. This year Craig won the accompanist prize at the Thelma King Award, AESS Patricia Routledge Song Prize and the Great Elm awards at the Wigmore Hall. Craig is part of TangoDuo, an ensemble promoting the works of Astor Piazzola. He works at Junior Trinity College of Music as a staff accompanist and in September he began a Junior Fellowship in Piano Accompaniment at the Royal College of Music.
